Hello, my name is Eddie Torres (Petty). I am an Adoptee who has finally come in contact with my Biological Mother. I was taken away from my Biological Mother by the county due to a use of drugs during pregnancy after 13 days from my birth. My life was now in the hands of God and He did care. I was sent to a emergency shelter home. This mother (or rather grandmother for she was quite elderly) fell in love with me and requested to be licensed for foster care in order to keep me as her foster child. One year had past and a loving couple decided to adopt me. I grew up knowing I was different because I had always known I was adopted. Now 18 years later and after many struggles from bullying to suicide attempts,which were luckily unsuccessful, I am here for all of you who may have questions in regards to adoption either the process or life after. I now life a positive life. And one thing I will tell you is this. "Even though you don't realize it God has a purpose for you on earth."
Its only with God's grace that i am here today alive and well.
